About Us

Light of the Valley Lutheran Church started back in 1991 as an exploratory mission. Our first public worship service was held on March 29, 1992. As of today, the church has grown from a handful of families to over 170 members.

Our Mission Statement
Light of the Valley exists to glorify God by growing in His Word and boldly shining the Light of Jesus to others. We do this as we...
...confess that Scripture alone — The Bible — is God’s Word alone.
...confess that salvation comes by God’s grace alone through faith in Jesus alone.
...grow through joining together for lifelong worship of God and study of His Word.
...share the good news of Jesus throughout this valley and around the world by our Christian lives and words.

Our Pastor
Our current pastor is Reverend Jonathan Klein. He began serving Light of the Valley on August 3, 2014. He served there from July 2009 to July 2014, when he accepted the call to Light of the Valley. He also graduated Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts.
